Thank You Councillor Linda Scott
Council passed my motion to acknowledge the incredible service of Councillor Linda Scott. Who represented Sydney Labor on the City of Sydney Council from 2012 to 2024 with unwavering commitment to fairness, sustainability, and community. Linda’s leadership, both locally and nationally, delivered real outcomes, from championing affordable housing and green spaces to securing billions in funding for local governments. I thank her sincerely for her dedication, advocacy for the LGBTIQA+ community, and tireless work to make our city a better place.
